It's almost a week later, but we're just coming down from an amazing weekend with our reception for Julia Knight. For those who missed it, we had designer Julia Knight in the store this past Saturday signing her beautiful

serveware. The store was packed from the minute we opened at 9am until early evening. Julia was gracious as always, making her way through the store, greeting our guests, regaling them with stories of her travels. We had Brian Cuddy from The Organic Cellars pouring a refreshing Prosecco Merlot from Giol in the Veneto. This is the perfect summer rose - a seductive soft pink with the aroma of fresh strawberries. It's perfect for your next picnic or concert in the park. Pick up a bottle or two at Stephen Frank Table & Pantry. Tell us you read about it on the blog and save 1.50 off the regular price.
While Julia was regaling the crowd with her stories Frank wasn't far behind with hints on recipes and entertaining. We were serving slices of cured French sausages, assorted cheese, and for a sweet treat, pastry shells filled with lemon curd and topped with raspberry infused sugar. The biggest hit of the day was Frank's Beer Bread with Jalapeno and Cheese. It's a classic he's served for years but this time he topped it with a raspberry compound butter. The sweet from the butter mixed with the spice of the jalapeno was an inspired combination. We've attached the recipe.
